Najwa has to learn how to cook. And no, it’s not so she can find a man because I’ve stressed that any man she finds has to also know how to cook. She has to learn how to cook because it’s weirdly therapeutic, when the food comes out right, saves a ton of money and is generally healthier than fast and restaurant foods. And it’s fun. We kept it simple tonight making homemade hamburgers and homemade mashed potatoes. The primary goal was to introduce Najwa to two new cooking utensils — the potato peeler and the masher thingy.
