Girls Who Code!

Are you looking to learn to code? Do you want to build something amazing? Shaw Library has just the thing — we’re starting our very own Girls Who Code club!

Girls Who Code is an organization founded by Reshma Saurani with the mission of closing the gender gap in technology. Since 2012 they have worked with schools, libraries and other public institutions to bring coding to girls in all 50 states and several US territories. Despite the name, this club isn’t only for girls! This club is open to anyone in the third, fourth or fifth grade who wants to learn to code. Join us on Mondays starting in April from 6 – 7 p.m.

The event is finished.
